Wedding Shoot

We had our wedding shoot on last Friday at Ulu Yam lake.

It all started with us waking up at about 7 to prepare all accessories that might be used during the shoot and head out for our breakfast at 8.30am.

We had our breakfast at one of the chinese kopitiam along Jalan Loke Yew. I really enjoy eating breakfast at these places as i used to visit them every morning when i was younger.

Then we head to Manhattan Bridal Shop at the same street for make up session. My wife looked really good after making up but somehow she didnt like her complexion. Cant blame her as she is pregnant and those pimples might be caused by the imbalance hormone. Haha I also had to make up to balance up the colour of the skin eventhough the make up artist mentioned that my skin is considered very good compare to others. Hoho

Then we had discussion with the photographer (Zhang) and his assistant (Xiao Zhu) who is also a photographer on location to go. We decided to go with only Ulu Yam as Putrajaya which was originally planned will be too far away and it might take us few hours to get there. I didnt want to make the shoot too draggy as my wife who is pregnant might face problem.

At about 11.45 am we leave the bridal shop and move to Ulu Yam lakeside. Luck wasnt on our side as it was drizzling when we reached and fortunately it stopped after a while and we proceed with our shooting. The funny things that happened that time is that two other couples also went there for their wedding shoots (damn awkward) and luckily we had ours quite fast and move on to the next spot.

Then we reach to the Sungai Ulu Yam for our second shooting spot. It was a better view inside the forest as the river looked really clean and the trees are really green which make the picture look even better. Overall, shooting at outdoor is okay but there were some disadvantages of doing it:-

1. The hot sun can really melt us down which might affect the make up

2. It was really hard to open our eyes when we posed for the camera

3. There were no place for us to change

4. The place are much dirtier than it might looked in the picture

At about 3 pm we head back to bridal shop for our next indoor shoot. My wife actually picked some really beautiful dresses and one of it is see-through dress. She is pregnant and i don understand why she picked that! But she looked really sexy in those dresses though.

Finally the shoot ended at 8pm and we finally got our dinner at Off Jalan Pudu.
