Marriage Registration at Thean Hou Temple, KL

Yes we had our wedding dinner back in June. And we have just registered on the 6th August 2011. Very important date! HAHA

We had to wake up early in the morning as our time of registration has been fixed at 10 by the temple assistant. We leave home at about 8.45am and head to Bukit Tinggi Old Town for our breakfast. That place has been one of our favourite as we both love the Chicken Hor Fun and Xi Mut Milk Tea. XD

Then we head off to Thean Hou Temple at KL. This temple is famous for marriage registration.
Their address is :
65 Persiaran Endah,
Off Jalan Syed Putra (formerly Lornie Road),
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Tel: +603 2274 7088

This is how the temple look like from far

It's a really beautiful temple
For each marriage registration, bride and groom will need one witness each to witness the registration. So we brought my wife's dad and her brother in law as our witness (why not my friend? my wife didn't want to trouble my friend to come all the way from Klang).

The process is real simple. Just go in the room, all four of us sign on the certificate, listen to few sentences which i didnt hear any because of her speed of speaking. The only thing i did was to say I AGREE. HAHA
That's the end! You can get this done in 5 minutes seriously. So it is up to you what you wanna wear. I saw some wearing wedding gown and it look a little over as the process is too short duration and you need proper make up to match those gown.

Us posing with the Certificate
Once done we climb up the temple (the registration is at ground floor) at the 3rd floor to pray. Obviously most people to visit there will pray for their love life to be good. Including me.

Most important Certificate! It comes in two copies (one for husband and another for wife)

Happy Together <3
