On the way to Sibu from LCCT |
Once we reach my boss friend picked us up and head over to lunch
Our first meal - Taste like Wan Tan Mee in KL but much better because it is cooked with pork oil |

Most people there lived in big house (smallest also Semi D) WTF? All the houses can fit at least 2 - 3 cars inside the house compound. KL majority also 1 max also 2 only. There are no proper shopping mall there. Their biggest mall is only as big as Klang Parade. This show they don really have much entertainment to spend money on. That is why my boss say most people there spend on house, TV and cars only. Here are some pictures of their houses, shops and city view.
Flooded house - no longer occupied |
One of the shopping mall - this picture show exactly how big the mall is |
Church - majority are Christian there |
At night we drove all the way into a kampung area (the road is freaking dark) for our dinner. The food are worth traveling for almost 30 minutes though.
Local Soft drink - without gas wan |
Deer meat - Awesome |
Traditional Vege |
Fried Chicken with Potato |
Crispy Roasted Chicken |
Then they bring me to take the picture of their tallest building in Sibu.
Their approach is similar to KLCC, shopping mall at the bottom with offices upstairs (shorter version) |
Next morning we went for breakfast before our work at one of the coffee shop (my favourite place for breakfast don know why) XD
Lunch at one of the cafe

Rendang Chicken Nasi Lemak |
Tasteful Sarawak Mee Mamak |
After our lunch before i head back to KL, they bring me around to explore the town since we have free time before the flight. My boss was born in Sibu so he knows the place well.
Another mini shopping mall - best brand inside is Hush Puppies |
Town Centre Temple |

In the middle of the town they have this 12 chinese animal zodiac for tourist photo taking.
